DLA Piper advises Tilad on acquisition of office complex in Berlin
DLA Piper has advised Tilad, a multi-family office based in the Gulf region, on the acquisition of an office complex in Berlin from Société Générale Immobel SA. The acquisition took place as part of a share deal, which was financed by ING Real Estate Finance Germany.
The DLA Piper team led by partner Fabian Mühlen included counsels Fabian Hinrichs (both real estate, Frankfurt) and Robert Hofbauer (finance and projects, Frankfurt), as well as senior associates Timo Betjemann (corporate, Cologne), Sandra Gaidies (finance and projects, Frankfurt) and Andrea München (finance and projects, Frankfurt).
Built in 1995, the property Atrium Charlottenburg is situated in Berlin’s district of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. It has a site area of 10,037m2 and a total rentable floor space of 40,882m2. The main tenants are Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems FOKUS and the Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur für Arbeit).
