DLA Piper advises Laureate Education on purchase of THINK: Education Group
DLA Piper has advised Laureate Education on its recent acquisition of SEEK’s remaining 80 per cent interest in THINK: Education Group and its subsidiaries for AUD112m (£61m).
Laureate Education is an international network of institutions of higher education with more than 75 accredited campus-based and online universities offering undergraduate and graduate degree programmes to nearly 800,000 students around the world.
Michael Reed, corporate partner at DLA Partner, advised Laureate Education on the deal, with senior associate Michelle Monteleone and other solicitors, including conducting the legal due diligence process, advising on the transaction documentation and financing and managing the completion process.
