DLA Piper advises Coupons.com on New York Stock Exchange IPO
DLA Piper has advised Coupons.com on its initial public offering (IPO) on the New York Stock Exchange. Digital coupon specialist Coupons.com operates a platform that connects brands and retailers with consumers through the web and mobile and social channels.
According to San Jose Mercury News, the transaction represents ‘Silicon Valley’s first pure-tech IPO of 2014’.
The Silicon Valley-based DLA Piper team representing Coupons.com was led by Peter Astiz, global co-head of the law firm’s technology sector practice, along with Michael Torosian, a partner in the firm’s corporate and capital markets practices.
Associates from the firm who assisted on the transaction included Jennifer Gallo, Ian Boardman, Nicole Albertson and Christopher Trester.
