Debevoise & Plimpton names Brian F McKenna international counsel to firm
Debevoise & Plimpton has announced that Brian F McKenna has been named international counsel to the firm, effective 1 November 2013.
McKenna, resident in Debevoise’s Hong Kong office, is a member of the firm’s corporate department and private equity group. He regularly represents private-equity sponsors and multinational corporations in a range of corporate transactions, including cross-border mergers and acquisitions, minority and control investments, secondary transactions and capital market offerings.
His practice includes advising on direct investment into Greater China and Southeast Asia and he has experience in the insurance and financial services sectors. He also routinely represents sovereign wealth funds in connection with a variety of outbound direct investment activities.
