Dacheng senior partner Miao Qian is appointed as special court supervisor
Dacheng senior partner Miao Qian, who is also a deputy to Beijing Municipal People’s Congress, has been appointed by the High Court as special supervisor to serve a five-year term starting from October 2013.
Beijing High People’s Court has appointed special court supervisors to oversee and make suggestions and recommendations for court trials, execution, team construction and infrastructure construction.
This is in an effort to improve the external supervision mechanism for Beijing’s courts, promote judicial justice and transparency and boost judicial credibility.
The special supervisors can exercise their power over courts of all levels in Beijing and monitor the court staff’s work in administering justice and performance in terms of discipline and professional ethics.
