Dacheng attorneys attend aircraft delivery ceremony at Boeing headquarters
Senior partner Wu Jingjing from Dacheng’s Shanghai office was recently invited by The Boeing Company and AVIC International leasing Co to attend a signing ceremony, in which the aircraft manufacturer was set to deliver Boeing 737-800s to an airline company, at the headquarters of Boeing in Seattle.
Jingjing had previously represented AVIC International Leasing on an aircraft leasing. Ju Yunbo, an executive from the leasing company, and attorney Liu Chang also participated in the ceremony.
She exchanged ideas on law practice issues of purchasing and leasing civil aircraft and the application of the Cape Town Convention in China in relation to the protection of buyer and leaser’s interests with participating guests from the Civil Aviation Administration of China and staff from Boeing.
Jingjing’s team specialises in aircraft financing, leases and operating leases. Her team has represented a number of bank-backed and non-bank-backed leasing companies and has advised on the leasing of 10 Boeing and Airbus civil aircraft and a few Bombardier and Gulfstream general-purpose aircraft, covering processes of purchase, lease, delivery and maintenance of aircraft.
