Dacheng advises real-estate subsidiary of Pingan Insurance on acquisition
A Dacheng team led by attorney Wu Chenyao and Mo Fei from the Shanghai office’s construction and real-estate department recently won the bid to act as legal adviser for Shenzhen Pingan Real Estate.
Shenzhen Pingan Real Estate is a subsidiary of Pingan Insurance (Group) Company of China, which acquired a Chengdu-based logistics property project from LaSalle Investment Management Co, the investment management branch of Jones Lang LaSalle.
LaSalle Investment Management Co is a property investment management company that runs approximately $49.7bn (£30bn) worth of assets.
The team was charged with the task of conducting due diligence, drafting important agreements and negotiation.
Despite a tight schedule and complex transaction procedures, the team, which was led by Wu Chenyao and Mo Fei, managed to complete the task smoothly and satisfactorily.
