Dacheng advises on the launch of CSRC hotline for investors
Dacheng has acted as the exclusive legal adviser for the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) on the launch of a hotline to better serve investors of securities and futures markets and protect their legitimate rights and interests.
The CSRC hotline commenced operation on a trial basis on 6 September 2013. As an alternative to petition for dispute resolution, investors can dial 12386 to file complaints, seek enquiries and submit suggestions. The hotline will also resume functionalities of enquiries, suggestions and complaints on the official websites of the CSRC and the Securities Investor Protection Funds.
Dacheng attorneys provided all-round legal service for the launch of the hotline. Their work involved preparation support, system construction, building and upgrading of a knowledge base, hotline staff training and onsite support.
The law firm’s project team comprised senior partners Qian Hongji, Zhao Min, Zhang Hong and Tao Yusheng and attorneys Wang Xingbo, Li Jinyan, Liu Xiaoyu, Li Ping, Zhao Weichang and Mao Wei.
