Cowan and Meyer from DLA Piper named in list of top 30 real estate lawyers
DLA Piper has announced that Stephen Cowan, managing partner of the firm’s San Francisco office, and Michael Meyer, managing partner of the Los Angeles office, have been named in the Daily Journal’s 2013 list of top 30 real estate transactional lawyers.
The editors of the Daily Journal identified the 30 top real estate attorneys in California through a review process that weighted transaction value and intricacy.
The Daily Journal highlighted Cowan’s work on a wide range of transactions from small-scale workouts and acquisitions to financing for luxurious casinos and hotels in Macau and Las Vegas.
Meyer was recognised for his skill in complex lease negotiations, particularly his involvement closing a lease deal for Mercedes-Benz USA LLC.
