Costs and litigation funding
Members provide advice and representation in all aspects of costs and funding, whether in personal injury or non-personal injury areas. Individual members have special experience in CFAs and in group litigation.
This includes drafting CFAs, GLOs, costs-sharing orders and providing advice on funding combinations (including the use of public funding). Representation includes CFA enforcement hearings, cost capping and all aspects of non-party costs orders (typically against insurers or solicitors).
Members are accustomed to setting up a funding framework in advance of litigation, in working with other litigators during the currency of a case, and in determining costs liability once liability is concluded.
