Conyers named Best Offshore Law Firm at MENA FM Fund Services Awards
Conyers Dill & Pearman has been named Best Offshore Law Firm at the second annual MENA Fund Manager Fund Services Awards. The awards paid tribute to the service providers who have shaped the MENA funds industry in 2013.
The firm was presented with the Best Offshore Law Firm award at a lunchtime ceremony on 14 January in Dubai. This is the second year that Conyers has taken home a top prize, having received the Best Offshore Law Firm — Client Service honour in 2013.
Fawaz Elmalki, a director and head of the Dubai office’s investment funds practice, accepted the award on behalf of the firm. MENA FM also recently recognised Elmaki for the third consecutive year in its Service Provider Power 30 list: the ‘who’s who’ of service providers in the region.
Winners of the Fund Services awards are chosen by a judging panel comprising representatives from the publication as well as industry experts and institutional and private investors.
