Conyers’ Chris Garrod discusses the rise of ILS in Global Reinsurance magazine
In advance of the Convergence 2013 ILS event in Bermuda on 13 and 14 November, Chris Garrod, head of Conyers Dill & Pearman’s Bermuda insurance practice, has discussed the rise of insurance-linked securities (ILSs) in Global Reinsurance magazine.
Garrod said that over the past few years, the industry has seen an increasing number of fund managers move into the ILS space as a means to enhance the overall performance of their investment portfolios and that global interest in the sector has never been higher.
