Conyers advises Mara Partners FS on Atlas Mara Co-Nvest IPO
Conyers Dill & Pearman’s Dubai office has provided Cayman law advice to Mara Partners FS in connection with its founding shareholder subscription of ordinary shares and warrants of Atlas Mara Co-Nvest.
Atlas Mara raised gross proceeds of $325m (£196m) in connection with its initial public offering (IPO) of ordinary shares, with warrants being issued to subscribers of ordinary shares in the IPO on the basis of one warrant per ordinary share.
The ordinary shares (ATMA) and the warrants (ATMW) issued by Atlas Mara are listed on the main market of the London Stock Exchange.
Atlas Mara expects to focus on acquiring a company or business in the financial services sector with all or a substantial portion of its operations in Africa.
