Collyer Bristow’s Nick Gould speaks at Good Law workshop at the Cabinet Office

Collyer Bristow corporate law partner Nick Gould has spoken at the Cabinet Office on the subject ‘Good/bad law — a cry for common sense’.

According to the firm, Gould offered a ‘no-holds barred’ insight into the impact that legislation can have on users in the ‘real world’ of business.

He provided case studies of the struggles that some of his clients have with company law, money-laundering regulations and pensions regulation. The firm said that Gould effectively conveyed the problems that users have with the complexity of legislation, and how even simple changes can have unforeseen consequences.
