Collyer Bristow promotes Janine Alexander to partner in financial services disputes group

Collyer Bristow has announced that Janine Alexander has been promoted to partner, bringing the number of partners in the firm’s financial services disputes group to three.

The firm said that Alexander is well known for her command of technical issues relating to derivatives and has been involved in many disputes relating to interest rate and credit derivatives and the mis-selling of investments.

Her work also includes claims regarding LIBOR and Forex manipulation and disputes arising from complex property and development finance, including syndicated lending. She has advised many borrowers and investors in disputes with banks.

Alexander is a keen advocate of alternative dispute resolution and has participated in approximately 40 mediations, almost always with successful outcomes.

She is a member of the Financial Services Lawyers Association and the London Solicitors Litigation Association.
