Chadbourne & Parke acts as counsel on three award-winning projects in the Americas
Chadbourne & Parke has acted as counsel on three winning 2012 deal-of-the-year awards for its work in the Americas. The awards were recently announced by Project Finance and Project Finance International (PFI).
The law firm won for the $6bn (£4bn) Sabine Pass LNG liquefaction project, the Marena Renovables wind deal and the Arlington Valley solar power project.
The Sabine deal was recognised by PFI as Americas Deal of the Year and by Project Finance as both North American Oil & Gas Deal of the Year and Overall North American Deal of the Year.
Chadbourne & Parke represented the lenders in this deal.
The Marena Renovables deal was selected by PFI as Americas Wind Deal of the Year and by Project Finance as Latin American Wind Deal of the Year.
Chadbourne & Parke represented a consortium, including Macquarie Capital Infrastructure Fund, in the development of the largest single-stage wind farm in Latin America — a 396MW facility.
The Arlington Valley deal was honoured by Project Finance as North American Single-Asset Power Deal of the Year.
Chadbourne & Parke represented LS Power in connection with the construction financing of the company’s 127MW Arlington Valley Solar Energy II project in Arizona.
