Carey Olsen named Guernsey Law Firm of the Year 2014 by Who’s Who Legal
Carey Olsen has been named Guernsey Law Firm of the Year 2014 for the fourth time by Who’s Who Legal, alongside a list of international law firms including Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Allen & Overy, Baker & McKenzie and Clifford Chance.
Across the firm’s Guernsey, Jersey and Cayman Islands practice, Carey Olsen received enough nominations from its clients and peers to be listed 12 times in five practice areas, including litigation (asset recovery), banking, mergers and acquisitions, private client and funds (private funds).
Carey Olsen lawyers gained more listings than any other firm in Guernsey, achieving eight listings across four practice areas in the publication. John Greenfield, Karen Le Cras, Nigel Carey, Russell Clark, Alison MacKrill, Tom Carey, Graham Hall and Ben Morgan from the firm’s Guernsey office were all included in the listing.
In Jersey, partners Robert MacRae and Guy Coltman and senior associate Victoria Connolly also featured as leading practitioners, as did Cayman Islands managing partner Jarrod Farley.
Who’s Who Legal is an independent market report on the international legal sector. Results are based on a range of factors including feedback received from clients and peers in the research process, past performance in the research and the overall aggregate number of weighted votes cast in their favour.
