Capt Faz Peermohamed is shortlisted for Global Maritime Lawyer of the Year
Lloyds List has announced that Capt Faz Peermohamed, global head of admiralty at Ince & Co, has been shortlisted for its Global Maritime Lawyer of the Year Award for 2013.
Faz, a master mariner, is widely commended for his dedication to the shipping industry and the seafarers who work within it.
He has been shortlisted in recognition of his innovative ideas and tenacity in solving complex legal problems, along with his expertise in the important issue of places of refuge for damaged or stricken vessels and his involvement in protecting seafarers from unfair criminalisation.
Faz has been instructed by clients with principal interests in many of the major shipping casualties over the past year.
