Bristows comments on Svensson copyright ruling in New Law Journal
Bristows associate Tom Ohta has been quoted in New Law Journal in relation to the recent ruling in the Svensson case on hyperlink copyright.
Ohta said: ‘The ruling that linking to freely accessible content would not infringe reflects a sensible approach; to have found otherwise could have had a chilling effect on the internet.’
