Binder Grösswang wins Austrian Law Firm of the Year recognition at IFLR awards
Binder Grösswang has been recognised as Austrian Law Firm of the Year 2014 at International Financial Law Review’s (IFLR) annual European awards in London.
The awards celebrated the law firms that advised on ‘the most innovative legal deals of 2013’. National Law Firm of the Year awards were given to the firms with the best track records in 2013 with respect to giving to the firms with the best track records in 2013 on giving local law advice on the most innovative international finance deals from the country in question.
Binder Grösswang was awarded in recognition of the firm’s counsel on three deals that broke new legal ground and set market precedents: the acquisition of Paylife Bank by SIX; the issuance of a corporate bond by UNIQA Insurance Group in accordance with Solvency II requirements; and the financing of the acquisition of the listed Turkish paper production plant Dentas by the Austrian Prinzhorn Group in close co-operation with OeKB.
