Australia-Mongolia Business Council elects Minter Ellison partner as chairman

Minter Ellison’s international managing partner, Mark Green, has been elected chairman of the Australia-Mongolia Business Council. The council’s mandate is to foster mutually beneficial economic, investment and business interests between the two countries.

While the amount of trade between Australia and Mongolia is still relatively small, there is significant commercial interest by Australian companies in Mongolia and enormous trade and investment potential stemming from Mongolia’s minerals and energy sectors.
