Appleby staff dress down at work to raise $23,000 for Cayman charities
Staff at Appleby (Cayman) Ltd have raised more than $23,000 in the last 12 months for Meals on Wheels and Cayman Hospicecare.
The funds were raised through a special ‘dress down for work’ programme with staff donating a portion of their salary to help the Cayman-based charities.
For the coming fiscal year Appleby has expanded its dress-down programme to support three charities: the Extended Afterschool Programme; Cayman Hospicecare; and Cayman Islands Humane Society.
All of these organisations will receive funding from the firm during 2014.
