Allen & Overy partner Sullivan and counsel Hancher to speak at EU and climate forum
Allen & Overy partner Jeffrey Sullivan and counsel Prof Leigh Hancher (Tilburg University) are set to speak at the EUI Florence School of Regulation 2013 Forum on ‘EU and Climate Policy: Where Do We Go From Here?’ The event will be held in Brussels on 26 November 2013.
Hancher will chair the session on ‘Investor Protection, Regulatory Stability and the Interface between EU and ECT Protection’, at which Sullivan will speak.
Hancher will also chair sessions on ‘Capacity Markets and EU Law’, ‘Promoting Renewables — Harmonising National Support Schemes’ and ‘Long-Term Contracts, Competition Law and Renewable Energy Protection/Promotion’.
Other speakers include Günther Oettinger (commissioner for energy), Connie Hedegaard (commissioner for climate action), Øystein Løseth (chief executive officer, Vattenfall), Fulvio Conti (chief executive officer, Enel), Christian Buchel (deputy chief executive officer, ERDF) and Grégoire Poux-Guillaume (president, Alstom Grid).
