Allen & Overy competition lawyers host exchange of information workshop
The Brussels competition team at Allen & Overy recently hosted a workshop entitled ‘Exchange of information — current issues’ in partnership with Concurrences Journal and Compass Lexecon.
Competition authorities in the EU are currently taking a hard stance against information exchange and other forms of price signalling. Cases increasingly involve subtle, indirect and sometimes one-off forms of exchange, and inevitably raise complex issues.
At the workshop, speakers from the European Commission and Compass Lexecon, and Allen & Overy competition lawyers from Brussels and Amsterdam provided their views and insights on the topic.
