This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
Addleshaw Goddard has promoted eight lawyers to partner across its UK offices in an enlarged promotions round.
The eight promotions this year follow six last year (27 March 2012). Of the eight, three of the newly-promoted partners are female.
The promotions come across several practice areas. The banking team gains two partners, with partners also made up in Addleshaws’ litigation, real estate, financial regulation and professional practices teams.
Half of the new partners are based in Addleshaws’ London office, two in Leeds and two in Manchester.
The hires follow seven lateral hires in the UK over the last year, as well as the firm’s recent launch in Oman with the hire of a team from Trowers & Hamlins(15 January 2013).
Senior partner Monica Burch said in a statement that the firm was focusing on its client relationship, and “refreshing and strengthening our partnership through lateral hires and promotions from within is a key element of that focus”.
The promotions in full:
Rosanna Bryant (financial regulation) Joe Wilkinson (construction litigation)
Louisa Caswell (litigation) Jon Cheney (professional practices) Alex Dumphy (banking) Steve Mackie (banking)
Andy Bates (business restructuring) Monica Brij (real estate)
