Finnish firm Hannes Snellman has boosted its recently established Copenhagen office by hiring two partners from local rivals.
Peter Lyck, a corporate partner at Bech-Bruun, and Mikkel Fritsch, a junior partner and head of banking and finance at former DLA Piper arm Horton, both join Hannes Snellman’s Denmark base, which opened in September 2010.
Lyck has experience in public M&A and equity capital markets, while Fritsch focuses on advising Danish and foreign banks, private equity funds and industrials on all aspects of financing.
“I’m very pleased to welcome Peter and Mikkel to Hannes Snellman’s partnership,” said Copenhagen managing partner Philip Risbjørn, who also joined the firm from Bech-Bruun along with two more lawyers in September.
“Building first-tier public M&A/ECM and finance practices is essential to our operation and Peter and Mikkel will both be instrumental in enabling this,”
Hannes Snellman also has offices in Helsinki, Moscow, St Petersburg and Stockholm.
