Finland's Dittmar & Indrenius adds former Hannes Snellman partner

Finland’s Dittmar & Indrenius has appointed a new partner in the form of Hannes Snellman’s former head of finance and capital markets.

Kari Lautjärvi will join Dittmar & Indrenius on 1 September.

The transaction and finance specialist said: “I’m very pleased to join one of the oldest and most prestigious law firms in Finland.

“Dittmar & Indrenius’ strong international ties and commitment to independence and quality allow me to develop my international and domestic relationships in an inspiring and ethical environment.”

Lautjärvi left Hannes Snellman a year ago to create his own boutique. He has almost 30 years of experience from different areas of business law with a focus on banking and finance, capital markets and M&A.

He is the former president of the Finnish Bar Association, a position he held between 2004 and 2007, and is currently working on his doctoral thesis in the field of corporate law. In addition to his transactional work, Lautjärvi acts as an arbitrator.

Dittmar & Indrenius managing partner Jan Ollila said: “Our demanding corporate clients call on us to offer creative solutions, often in one-of-a-kind transactions. We work hard to develop and maintain a team that’s able to continuously meet these challenges.

“We’re enthusiastic and more than pleased to have Karl Lautjärvi join our team.”
