Finers joins Lawrope as UK representative

West End firm Finers has replaced Harris Rosenblatt & Kramer as the UK member of Lawrope, a network of firms who refer work between themselves and do joint venture cross-border work.

Finers joined Lawrope after Harris Rosenblatt severed its ties with the network following its merger with Paris-based Salans Hertzfeld & Heilbronn earlier this year.

Finers managing partner Richard Gerstein said: "Our decision to join Lawrope was based on our clients' need for strong representation in Europe. It also opens up opportunities for the firm that would not otherwise have been available."

Lawrope has member firms across Europe, and a team based in Brussels for handling European Union work.

Gerstein said: "The firm is not sending anyone to Brussels at this stage, but it is useful as a lead into lobbying work in the European Parliament."
