Travers Smith Braithwaite acted for Westdeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale as arranger and agent in connection with a syndicated £125 million five-year term loan facility to Norwich and Peterborough Building Society. McKenna & Co acted on behalf of the society. The facility comprised a £115 million sterling tranche and a £10 million eurosterling tranche. The aim of the deal was to refinance the society's recent purchase of a mortgage pool.
