A group of international financial institutions led by Goldman Sachs has launched an independent company offering legal and risk management services
Regulatory DataCorp (RDC) has been set up to offer companies and financial institutions information on legal news and regulatory developments. The company will also offer due diligence and anti-fraud products aimed at helping clients to manage the risk associated with criminal activity. RDC chief executive officer William Catucci said that the company is a proactive response to the threats posed to global security by money laundering, fraud, terrorist financing, organised crime and corruption. Other board members include Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy senior partner and ex-CIA director William Webster and Wilmer Cutler & Pickering senior partner Harry Weiss.
