In both 2009 and 2008 it promoted four partners (27 April 2010) and this year’s tally marks a record number for the firm.
All the new partners are based in the firm’s London office. Three of the partners are from the corporate practice, with a further two in employment and technology, and one apiece in personal injury, and trademark and brand protection.
It brings the firm’s total number of partners to 140, following 13 lateral hires over the last year across its four European offices, including former Seyfarth Shaw employment partner Simeon Spencer and Paris IP partner Frank Veisse.
The latest round of partner promotions also marks the first time that a legal executive, Harminder Bains, has been promoted to the firm’s partnership.
Managing partner Moira Gilmour said the record numbers reflected a strong performance and the firm’s commitment to long-term growth.
