Field Fisher outsources European facilities in £18.5m deal
Field Fisher Waterhouse (FFW) has signed an £18.5m deal to outsource the facilities management of all seven of its European offices, including its London headquarters.
Facilities management company Rollright Facilities has won the five-year contract and takes over FFW’s London-based facilities team of 20 people today, covering facilities functions including post room and print room services and everyday maintenance of the buildings.
The company will also manage associated services for the firm’s offices in Brussels, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Manchester, Munich and Paris.
FFW said the outsourcing contract would not result in any redundancies, and was necessary in light of the firm’s recent expansion in Germany.
In a statement, facilities head Peter Titus said: “The firm’s growing significantly, particularly across Europe, and we wanted to review how we could best deliver the most efficient and effective facilities management services across the firm’s seven offices.
“By partnering with a specialist facilities management company like Rollright, we’ll have access to a flexible resource for day-to-day operations and projects across our UK and European offices.
“In addition, our in-house team of experienced professionals will benefit from the greater training, development and career opportunities that being with a dedicated facilities management provider will bring.”
The new contract follows CMS Cameron McKenna’s decision to outsource the majority of its back office services to Integreon in April, including its HR team of 20 people.
