EY Law in Paris has lost yet another partner – this time to rival Fidal.
Hervé Bidaud, a tax specialist, moves to the French number one after time as a partner at both Archibald Andersen and EY.
As well as being a part of Fidal’s tax practice, Bidaud will work with Fidal’s management to develop international advisory services for mid-market companies.
The news comes on the back of a stream of departures from EY Law and fellow former accountancy-tied firm Landwell in recent weeks. The firms have been hit by the consequences of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and the French Loi Financière.
