FFW media head joins NBC Universal

NBC Universal has hired a Field Fisher ­Waterhouse partner to launch the legal ­department of its new ­International Television Production business.


NBC Universal has hired a Field Fisher ­Waterhouse (FFW) partner to ;launch ;the ;legal ­department of its new ­International Television Production business.

FFW partner and head of media Jeremy Miles will join the International ­Television ;Production unit in January as vice-­president, business and legal affairs.

Miles said: “It’s a big job and a challenge. It coincided with thoughts I had of going back in-house.”

Miles will report to ­president of International Television Production Angela Bromstad and NBC Universal senior vice-­president legal Andrew Hall, who is also based in London.

Miles previously worked in-house at Lion Television and Granada Television.
FFW head of IP Mark Abell said he was sorry to see Miles go and that he looked forward to working with him at NBC.
