FFW hires IP/IT duo for German push

•Field Fisher Waterhouse (FFW) has appointed two new IP/IT partners in Hamburg as part of its continued expansion drive in Europe. Former deputy general counsel at AOL Deutschland Felix Wittern has been brought in to develop the firm's technology practice in Germany. Alexandra von Bismarck has been hired to focus on trademark and licensing jobs. FFW launched its German office last month as part of a European expansion plan that involves setting up a Brussels office and joining forces with Italian firm La Scala e Associati.
