Fasken adds DMH Stallard's City corporate head to London team

Canada-headquartered Fasken Martineau has hired DMH Stallard’s London corporate head.

Stuart Hills joins Fasken Martineau as a banking and finance partner in the London office. He joins from DMH Stallard, where he had been a partner since 2010. Prior to that he was a partner at Weil Gotshal & Manges, having joined from O’Melveny & Myers in 2008 (21 April 2008). Before that, Hills was a senior associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.

Hills has experience acting for financial institutions, private equity sponsors and lenders and spend five years working as a banker at Standard Chartered Bank.

In a statement, Fasken Martineau regional managing partner Gary Howes said: “His talent will augment our growing banking practice. Attracting Stuart represents a significant opportunity for us as he brings with him considerable experience in the corporate and finance fields.”
