Farrer bins CEO role in management shift

Farrer & Co has scrapped its CEO role in a shake-up of its senior management structure. Farrers’ current CEO Andrew Mills-Baker is standing down after nine years in the role, prompting the search for a chief operating officer (COO) in his stead. The new COO will be charged with implementing firm strategy and leading the support functions. Mills-Baker joined Farrer in June 1998 after nearly 15 years on the board of directors of consumer products companies. He most recently acted as chief executive of clothing group Country Casuals.
