US firm Faegre & Benson has promoted one partner in its departure-hit London office, as part of nine promotions across its worldwide network.
Head of employment Alex Denny is the only new UK partner, alongside four promotions in Minneapolis, three in Denver and one in Boulder. Denny focuses on the employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and the management of executive terminations.
The UK office of Faegre & Benson has lost four out of 12 partners this year, all of whom were former partners at Hobson Audley, which merged with the US firm in 2003. Faegre & Benson’s international co-head is spending one week a month in London in a bid to revive the office’s fortunes.
