Former Coopers & Lybrand deputy chairman Richard Stone has joined Simmons & Simmons as a non-executive director on the board. He became deputy chairman of Coopers & Lybrand in 1995 and, after the 1998 merger with PriceWaterhouse, became a member of the global board of PricewaterhouseCoopers until December 2000.
