Ex-Osborne Clarke duo open niche corp firm

Partner fall-out at Osborne Clarke has spawned a new niche corporate firm in Bristol.
Bruce Roxburgh, Osborne Clarke's Bristol head of corporate until his departure in February, has launched Roxburgh and Milkins LLP together with a senior corporate lawyer from the firm, Jason Milkins.
Roxburgh has worked with Milkins for many years and the two share a number of strong client relationships. They have already concluded their first deal just days after moving into serviced offices at Citypoint, Temple Gate on 1 September. The deal was advising on a £2.8m investment to facilitate a management buyout.
Roxburgh said he had felt no desire to join another large firm, despite a number of approaches. He commented: "We feel very relieved of baggage and politics. It's a liberating and refreshing experience."
The new firm is outsourcing work to a number of lawyers, including former colleagues at Osborne Clarke, in areas such as share incentives, employment and tax.
