Ex-Links man joins pal at headhunters

Former Linklaters emerging markets head Nick Eastwell has joined legal headhunters SR Search as a senior adviser.
Eastwell left the magic circle firm after 27 years last October, having held several management positions and after standing against Simon Davies in 2007’s managing partner election.
He joins Nick Holt at SR Search, where he will advise on client matters and business opportunities. Eastwell said: “Nick and I have been friends since our student days and we spent time together in Hong Kong in the early ’80s. The opportunity to work with him was one I couldn’t refuse.”
