Ex-Linklaters chief takes up charity role

The former senior partner of Linklaters Anthony Cann has been appointed as chair of body disfigurement charity Changing Faces. Cann, who started off at the magic circle firm as a trainee in 1970, had been senior partner for five years before handing over the reins to David Cheyne when he retired last September. Cann said: "Changing Faces will celebrate its fifteenth birthday this year and we intend to mark this milestone with a real step-change in the charity's funding position so that the staff can support and engage more people than ever before."
