This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
The Former senior clerk at Landmark Chambers Stephen Graham has come out of retirement to join Outer Temple Chambers as its business development director.
Graham retired at the end of 2006 after 42 years in the profession to concentrate on non-legal commitments (The Lawyer, 18 December 2006). “I was quite enjoying playing golf, but then the call came,” Graham said. “I started thinking about it and realised how much I missed the buzz and excitement.”
Graham, who will work alongside chambers director Christine Kings, will take over responsibility for the set’s clerking room.
Earlier this year Outer Temple became the first set to unveil a post-Legal Services Act strategy with the launch of a procurement company (The Lawyer, 22 February).
Outer Temple International will initially target non-UK instructions before launching domestically when regulations allow.
