Litigation and dispute resolution star Martin Rogers has joined Clifford Chance's Hong Kong
Rogers has been on gardening leave since he left Herbert Smith in July. He is known for contentious regulatory and insolvency work, but will advise on a range of financial services regulatory work and insolvency matters. There are now three partners in the Hong Kong litigation office and Clifford Chance is expanding its litigation and dispute resolution practice across Asia. In the past nine months, it has taken on seven associates in the Hong Kong office. The firm has also relocated projects partner Russell Wells from London to Singapore. Wells, who has been a partner since 1997, acts for banks and sponsors in the oil and gas, power, telecoms, water and infrastructure sectors. He has experience in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the US.
