Ex-Coudert Frankfurt chief joins German rival

Coudert Brothers' former Frankfurt senior partner has joined German firm Büsing Müffelmann & Theye as of counsel. Peter Forster is a real estate expert and the first notary to join the 17-strong Büsing. Coudert announced the closure of its German offices in June and is in the process of phasing them out. The firm gained its first foothold in Frankfurt through the acquisition of Fiedler & Forster, of which Peter Forster was a name partner.
