Ex-construction head retires from Hammonds

Hammonds’ former national head of construction, David Jones (left), is to retire this year following 10 years with the firm. Jones joined Hammonds in 1995 from Masons, and headed the firm’s
75-strong construction, engineering and projects practice until last month. Leeds-based partner Simon Palmer is replacing Jones as department head.
