Ex Charles Russell chief joins Global BPO as chairman

Legal process outsourcer Global BPO has hired former Charles Russell managing partner James Holder as chairman of the company.

Holder stepped down as Charles Russell’s managing partner in May this year and is set to continue as a member of the firm, but not as a partner.
The firm said in a statement: “James’ continuing responsibilities do not prevent him from taking on a part-time role such as this and are all part of retirement planning to allow proper succession.
“James continues to act in a business development role, actively seeking and referring opportunties to the firm, and we wish him every success in his new role at Global BPO.”
The firm has scrapped the managing partner role (28 March 2011), with partner Mike Scott at the helm of the firm as chairman.
Holder joined Charles Russell as a partner in 1987 and become managing partner in 2007.
