Eversheds uses Tyco model to win new client

Eversheds has won another Tyco-style contract with a role advising FMC Technologies on all of its European, Russian and Asia Pacific work.

US-based technology supplier FMC will use Eversheds’ global account management system (Gams) on every project on which it instructs Eversheds.

Eversheds partner Paul Smith said: “FMC will use the Gams system to instruct the firm. It properly measures cost for the in-house team and gives them much greater control over each project.”

Using the Gams system will allow FMC to score the national firm on each project on a range of criteria including efficiency and understanding of the goals. The scoring helps determine the spend on services provided by Eversheds.

Smith said: “More companies have had their budget for legal spend cut and need to be able to control this much better. That is what this service provides.”
