Eversheds snares Dundas property partner

Eversheds is set to boost its real estate team in London with a partner from Dundas & Wilson.

Richard Lampert, who has been at Dundas & Wilson since 2002, has tendered his resignation and will join Eversheds’ London real estate group in the coming months. Lampert specialises in dealing with funds, acquisitions and disposals, property financing and portfolio management, and acts for clients like Scottish Widows and Glebe Holdings.

Before joining Dundas, Lampert was at Andersen Legal, and Linklaters.

Eversheds’ head of real estate, Julie Stobart, said: “I’m delighted that Richard will be joining us as a partner in our London real estate group, as I am keen to build on the success and growth we have achieved over the last 18 months. Richard’s appointment will strengthen our reputation in the investor sector and will complement our existing offering.”

A statement from Dundas & Wilson, said: “We can confirm that Richard has tendered his resignation and will be leaving the firm in due course. We would like to take the opportunity to thank him for all of his help over the past ten years and wish him well in the future.

“Real estate is a key sector focus for the firm and our 80-strong team continues to grow in London, as demonstrated by the recent hires of John Pike and Ted Harrison from Stephenson Harwood.”
