Eversheds has become the first UK firm to pick up pieces from the collapse of Denton Wilde Sapte’s international network by signing an association with Spanish firm Lupicinio.
As revealed by The Lawyer on 6 October, Eversheds has been talking to a number of the former Denton International firms, but Lupicinio is, as yet, the only one with which the UK firm has reached an agreement.
Lupicinio, comprising of six partners and 37 lawyers, has offices in Madrid, Barcelona and Valladolid. Clients of the firm include Iberdrola, Caja Madrid, ICI Unliever, Oppenheim, Merck and Warner Music.
Lupicinio will rebrand as Lupicinio Eversheds and will continue to be run by managing partner Lupicinio Rodriguez.
